The village “Pop In’ Coffee Mornings are continuing to be well attended by local residents and during one of our recent Pop In’s we raised £40.00 for the Breast Cancer Now Charity which is a charity that both the Pop In and the Chatty Craft group have helped raised funds for. In total between the two groups a fantastic sum of £142.00 has been raised and sent to the charity.
Our next Pop in will be held on Thursday 26th September between 10.30 and 12 noon and as it is the national Macmillan Cancer Support fundraising week, we are hoping to support this charity so any donations given will be forwarded to them – do come along and enjoy a tea or coffee and a piece of cake. Our cakes for the ‘Pop In’ Macmillan Fundraiser on the 26th September are being made by Karen from the Toby Jug.
