Did you know that Cornwall Council’s Handyperson Service provides help with household maintenance and repairs for people in Cornwall who are over 60 or have a disability? You don’t need to be a user of any of our other services to request help.
They offer:

- Minor adaptations (eg grab rails and stair rails)
- “Odd” jobs (eg shelves, assembly of flat pack furniture)
- Tap repairs, replacing toilet seats, unblocking sinks
- General home safety checks, fitting smoke detectors
- And more…
They offer competitive rates and discounts if you’re in receipt of a means tested benefit.
