Boscastle Coastguard Rescue Team is looking for new volunteer Coastguard Rescue Officers to join their ranks.
HM Coastguard is the UK’s 999 maritime and coastal emergency service. The Coastguard Rescue Service is made up of trained volunteers who respond to emergencies all around our coastline. As part of the Boscastle team, you could find yourself involved in:
- Cliff rescues
- Water rescues
- Searches for missing people
- Mud rescues
- And other coastal emergencies
Volunteering in this role is unpaid, but you can claim a small amount for time and expenses. More importantly, it’s a chance to make a real difference and help save lives while being part of a dedicated and skilled local team.
Boscastle Coastguard Rescue Team is part of Area 12 and covers a busy stretch of North Cornwall’s coastline.
