Boscastle Chatty Craft Summer/ Autumn news, Macmillan Cancer Support donation and Christmas Craft Fair
The Boscastle Chatty Craft group have had a very productive summer and their amazing creative work continues into the autumn.
Throughout the summer Chatty Craft ladies have been entering a variety of crafts into local shows. Flower arranging, photography, crochet, needlework to name a few. They have returned to Boscastle with some twenty local craft show awards including both ’Best in Show’ awards from the Launceston and Camelford shows. Photos of some of the work they entered is pictured below.
The group set up a donations stall at their last session where members donated crafting items for sale. All sale proceeds are going to the Macmillan Cancer Support fund. The ladies raised an incredible £230.00.
Members are busy crafting for the Christmas Craft Fair and Coffee Morning being held at the Boscastle Farm shop on Thursday 20th November 9am – 1pm. All are very welcome to come along with the opportunity to buy gifts. There will be a large raffle with many lovely prizes to be won. All proceeds will be towards the purchase of a new defibrillator in the village.
