A new Therapeutic Gardening Group will be launching at Boscastle Community & Recreation Centre on Thursday 9th July, offering local people the chance to enjoy the outdoors, meet new friends, and help create a thriving community garden.
The group will meet on the second and fourth Thursday of each month from 10:30am to 12 noon. Activities will include rewilding the area behind the Community Centre, planting flowers, growing salads and vegetables, and creating a welcoming space for people and wildlife alike.
The sessions are designed to be informal and inclusive, with no gardening experience required. Organisers hope the group will provide an opportunity for people to socialise, enjoy gentle physical activity, and share in the satisfaction of creating something together for the benefit of the wider community.
Tea and cake will be provided, and everyone is welcome to come along and give it a try.
The first session takes place on Thursday 9th July at Boscastle Community & Recreation Centre.
