This Harvest Festival, local churches are inviting the community to help support local food banks by donating long-life food items.
From Friday 18 September until Wednesday 30 September, donations can be left at collection points in Boscastle NISA and the Premier Store, or dropped off at The Rectory.
Items most needed include:
- Long-life milk
- Canned vegetables
- Tinned tuna
- Other long-life food items
Please note that perishable and short-life foods cannot be accepted. Organised by the PCC of the Forrabury and Minster with Trevalga Churches, the appeal continues the Harvest Festival tradition of sharing with those in need and supporting people in our local communities.
Every donation, no matter how small, will help local food banks provide essential supplies to individuals and families facing hardship.
Collection dates: Friday 18 September – Wednesday 30 September.
