Camelford Police have issued the following updates on their social media:
“You asked for it, we did it! – Our sector currently has access to a laser speed device and we could be coming to your village. With local officers trained on the device and having had our device calibrated, you might see us out and about soon (hopefully we wont need to stop for a chat)” [3rd December]
“Another successful evening! 4 hours dedicated to 3 different sites in Camelford Town Centre. Early estimates are around 30+ vehicles stopped for excessive speed, which considering how many cars we had through in those 4 hours is very positive. Please remember – many of our villages are 20MPH and action will be taken against those who don’t stick to the speed limits.” [10th December]
