The festive elves from Boscastle Chamber of Trade and Commerce (BCTC) welcomed a huge crowd on Friday 1st December for “shop bingo” and the Christmas tree light switch on. The village was entertained by Boscastle Border Morris with carols lead by the children of Boscastle School and Boscastle Buoys before the lights were officially turned on.
Huge thanks to the Boscastle retailers for supporting and staying open late along with the entertainers and volunteers for the evening: Boscastle Border Morris, the children, teachers and staff at Boscastle School, the Boscastle Buoys, Chatty Craft for the decorations, the lobster pot tree build helpers, Dan for the lobster pots, Nick for lighting, Neil for driving the community minibus and the community for coming out and supporting the event on a very cold night!
