Forrabury and Minster Parish Council need people from all backgrounds and experiences to put themselves forward for election as a parish councillor. You don’t need any experience or special qualifications.
Your life experience, everyday skills, passion and commitment to people and communities are vital, and it’s important that councils reflect the local population.
There are currently 2 vacancies on Forrabury and Minster Parish Council.
The Council can now fill these vacancies by co-option which is a process whereby the council considers applications from interested persons and can then select someone to fill the seat.
If you are interested in becoming a parish councillor, please either download the application/declaration of eligibility form from the website or contact the Clerk and request the application/declaration of eligibility form by post.
Completed declarations must be with the Clerk no later than 5pm on Tuesday 16th April 2024 or they will not be considered. Applicants will be required to attend the Parish Council co-option meeting in Boscastle Village Hall, Gunpool Lane on Thursday 18th April 2024 from 7pm to give a brief summary of themselves and why they think they would make a good councillor.
