EV charging comes to Boscastle – finally!

Boscastle CIC has recently installed two 21kW electric vehicle (EV) chargers to serve both visitors and residents. This development is particularly significant given the rising number of EVs on the road and the unique challenges faced by rural communities such as Boscastle. These areas are often geographically isolated, which can heighten range anxiety among EV drivers due to the scarcity of charging facilities. The introduction of these chargers in Boscastle aims to alleviate these concerns by providing accessible and convenient charging options, thus supporting the transition to more sustainable transportation and encouraging the use of electric vehicles in rural settings.
