Six members of the public attended. CCllr Jordan reported on new temporary e-waste collection points and an upcoming speedwatch initiative. One resident raised progress on the group’s objection to the Geothermal Power Plant application; the local MP has escalated this to the Secretary of State, and CCllr Jordan will seek a full planning committee review.

• Street Lighting: Cornwall Council has declined leaving alternating streetlights on due to lux level variances. Alternative options are being discussed.
• Play Area: Monthly inspection noted no issues. Posts have been sanded, and matting replacements under the seesaw are in progress.
• Car Park: Councillors reviewed the CIC’s request for involvement in car park devolution, noting Cornwall Council’s preference to work with Cormac. Discussions with the devolution team continue.
• Remembrance Day: Preparations for service and poppies are in place, and a donation cheque for a wreath was approved.
Monthly Inspection: No issues; bin only partially filled.
• Castle Site: Meadow area awaiting knotweed removal to assess resident licence considerations.
• Councillor Surgeries: No attendance recorded at the latest surgery; future sessions on hold due to low demand.
• Emergency Response: Cornwall Council has engaged multi-agency partners to establish localised community emergency responses.
• Sculpture plinth and relocation approved by the school and National Trust.
• Paradise Triangle: Contacting a contractor for day-by-day maintenance.
