Getting excited for the season now. You may have seen we have moved one of our boats down to the harbour and as usual she will be a feature there throughout the summer and hopefully into autumn. Already this season we have had more sea rows than last year so let’s hope that continues. Most crews have already been out into a kind Atlantic cradle but surely the wow factor goes to our men’s SV whom I had the privilege of coxing this week through the wow factor of a dolphin pod!
It is difficult to describe the pure beauty of this rare close up as they glided effortlessly around and under the hull and just how curious they appeared to be about us strange land creatures in our little boat. A sign of the times I hope.

I’ll keep you posted and look out for our club regatta in June always a fabulous spectacle for the village.
