With less than one week to go until polling day, make sure you know where you need to go and vote – and check you have a valid form of photo ID.
If you’re voting in person, you can use the polling station finder on the Cornwall Council website to check your designated polling station. Remember, you can only vote at the polling station you have been assigned.
Poll cards, which are sent out to people who are registered to vote in the weeks leading up to the elections, also provide details of your designated polling station. You do not need to have your poll card with you to vote.
All polling stations will be open between 7am and 10pm on 1 May.
Don’t forget to bring your photo ID on polling day. Accepted forms of ID include:
Passport
Driving licence
Government issued older or disabled person’s bus pass
Blue Badge
Defence Identity Card
Identity card bearing the Proof of Age
Standards Scheme hologram (a PASS card)
