Boscastle ‘Pop In’ coffee Morning celebrated the anniversary of VE Day commemorating with a talk from our local archives expert on Boscastle at that time. A really great morning was had by all. Sandwiches and cakes were very kindly donated by local residents. The Pop In team dressed for the occasion and the community centre was festooned with bunting, flags, flowers and balloons to mark the day. The gramophone struck out a note followed by singing at the end of the day.
The Pop In team would like to thank all those who so kindly and generously contributed to the event. It marked a day which should never be forgotten.
The next Pop In Coffee morning is Thursday 22 May 1030 – 1200 which will mark its first anniversary.
