The Boscastle team was paged yesterday to reports from members of the public that 3 persons were blown offshore on an inflatable and struggling to get back.
This incident involved Rescue 924 CG heli, Port Isaac RNLI, and Polzeath Coastguard.
Fortunately, this incident was resolved by the time assets had arrived, and once the lifeboat had arrived, a crew member from Port Issac RNLI met them on land to assess if they needed any medical assistance. Once everyone was happy, and no medical assistance was required. All assets were stood down.
