Eagle-eyed residents may have spotted that the Paradise Triangle (the large grassed area at the end of Paradise Road and running beside Barnpark Road) has been home to a wide variety of wildflowers this year, as part of a project run by local residents to rewild the area and increase its biodiversity. With a growing variety of flora and fauna, the team are now looking ahead to next year, and beginning to plan ways to increase the diversification and bring in more vibrant and colourful wildflower species.
As part of their plans, the team are looking for more local residents interested in helping on the project to get involved. While the group is particularly interested in hearing from people with a background in gardening or managing natural landscapes, anyone is welcome; from green-thumbed garden goddesses to those of us who can’t tell their daisies from their daffodils!
