National Grid has advised of a planned power outage affecting parts of Boscastle on Tuesday 9th September 2025 between 9:00am and 4:00pm.
This planned work is part of essential maintenance to ensure the electricity network remains safe and reliable.
An estimated 132 properties will be off supply in PL35 0AE, PL35 0AG, PL35 0AH, PL35 0AJ, PL35 0AQ, PL35 0HA, PL35 0HB, PL35 0HD, PL35 0HE, PL35 0HF, PL35 0HG, PL35 0HH and PL35 0HQ.
Residents and businesses in the affected areas will receive direct notification from National Grid. During the outage, power supplies will be interrupted, so it’s a good idea to plan ahead – whether that means charging devices in advance, checking any medical or mobility equipment, or making arrangements for refrigeration needs.
