Tickets are now on sale for two great theatre performances from Guy Masterson to be held in the Boscastle Village Hall over the coming months. Those of you who have seen Guy here before will know the quality of his performances.
Guy is an Olivier Award winner and the most awarded Edinburgh Fringe performer, director and producer. He comes to Boscastle to bring us these performances between engagements as Bath’s Theatre Royal and other main venues.

Using nothing but a wooden chair, dark glasses, apposite lighting and a beautifully haunting soundscape by Matt Clifford, Guy (who is Richard Burton’s nephew) performs the entire work – playing all 69 characters men & women, girls and boys – himself! It is unbelievably recreated and entirely enchanting. The show is truly remarkable. Committing the work to memory is one thing. To perform all the characters in such an engaging, delightful and totally convincing manner is another. Guy achieves all this and more. The performance is quite simply amazing!

A Christmas Carol

Guy’s third pre-Christmas trip to Boscastle to bring us his Christmas Carol.
Guy, veteran of many smash hit solo works, presents Dickens’ classic festive fable. Famed for bringing multiple characters to vivid life, Masterson gives us Scrooge, Marley, the Fezziwigs, the Cratchits, Tiny Tim et al in a riveting, performance that will dazzle, enchant, and linger long in the memory.
