Well what a fast moving few months with the sheer joy and excitement surrounding the formation and establishment of the new Harbour rowing club based right here in our village. You may have seen us out and about in our new boats traversing the wonderful sea line amphitheatre of Boscastle. We have rowed out from those gothic sea wall entrants many times taking full advantage of this years long summer. In addition to this we have also been representing the village at a variety of regattas including Barnstable (where we won first place) Helford head of the river race, Appledore sprints and a little jolly down to Fowey with 39 of our crew rowing in what turned out to be the most Indian of all Indian summer days.
The club is a community based and business supported members club with its inclusive approach opportunities for all to be involved in gig rowing at any level. We have nearly seventy members with an age demographic ranging from our great juniors section through to 60 plus masters. If you see us around come and say hello.
