Half Acre Studios & Carol Vincent Sculpture
The children had an amazing time at Half Acre Studios with a fantastic tour of the beautiful garden to enjoy all the wonderful sculptures. They spent time sketching the sculptures and then had the chance to make their own version of the Bude light sculpture. Thank you to Sam and Phoebe for making it a brilliant day for the whole school.
The school is now the proud custodian of a Carol Vincent Sculpture which is on display in the garden area at the back of school. The trip to Half Acre Studios provided an excellent opportunity for the children to find out about Carol’s work and her importance of her work as a renowned sculptor.
Thanks to Jenny (National Trust), Chris, Barry, Chris, Logan, Alexander and Ethan for a wonderful community effortto re-locate the sculpture from the National Trust shop up to us here at school ….Also, to Sam for advice with siting and in drawing plans for the plinth on which the sculpture is now displayed. Thanks also to Chris and Ethan for building the plinth.

Welcome to our new Early Years children
Our 12 new Reception children have settled in BRILLIANTLY; learning about school routines, familiarising themselves with the classroom and learning spaces, and getting to know staff members and other children.
St Endellion Book Festival
Year 5 and 5 children had an amazing day out to the St. Endellion Book Festival. They met and listened to a number of authors and writers. The day was hugely inspiring and exciting, and the children managed to get their books signed by the professional writers.
