As the thought of twinkling lights and festive plans begins to take shape, Boscastle is set to shine once again with Christmas spirit. From traditional lunches to festive feasts, there’s plenty to look forward to this December across the village.
A Christmas Carol – 13th December
Once again, Guy Masterson will bring his one-man A Christmas Carol to Boscastle Village Hall as part of his national tour. Saturday 13th December at 7:30, doors open 6:45, cash and card bar with mulled wine and mince pies! Tickets On-line £15 or at the Premier Store.
The Riverside’s “Over 70s” Christmas Lunch – Monday 15th December, 12–2pm
The Riverside is once again hosting its much-loved Over 70s Christmas Lunch for Boscastle residents. It’s free to attend, with donations to Cornwall Air Ambulance warmly welcomed. Expect a traditional Christmas meal with all the trimmings and plenty of festive cheer. Spaces are limited, so please book ahead by calling 01840 250216.
Christmas at The Napoleon Inn
The Nap will be open on Christmas Day, offering a festive three-course menu full of seasonal favourites — from roast turkey and rare roast beef to salmon and prawn Wellington, with Christmas pudding and plenty of good cheer to finish. To book, call 01840 250204.
Festive Dining at The Riverside
The Riverside’s Christmas Menu will be served every lunchtime (12–2pm) and on Friday and Saturday evenings throughout December. Choose between two courses (£29) or three courses (£35) and enjoy a relaxed, riverside setting for your celebrations. Book before 28th November and receive 10% off. Sea to Shore Artisan Collective
Sea to Shore Artisan Collective is hosting a programme of Christmas workshops through November and December. These are the perfect activity to do with friends and family to get you into the festive mood. Make your own Lino cut Christmas cards to send, design fused glass tree decorations, knot a macrame Christmas make or fold your own fabric scandi stars. Christmas & New Year at The Cobweb Inn
Celebrate the festive season at the Cobweb Inn with great food, live music, and plenty of good cheer! Enjoy the Cobweb’s Christmas Menu, served at lunch and in the evening from 1st December with two courses £26.95 and three courses £32.95 with pre-booking. An extensive live music line-up every Saturday evening plus offering Carol Singing (4pm) on the 14th, New Year’s Eve fireworks at 7pm, followed by a night of music with Firebird to welcome 2026 in style.
