If you have been following our social media lately, you will know that there is plenty going on regarding Elf! However, The Cobweb Inn has a packed programme of festive cheer lined up over the Christmas and New Year period, with plenty of opportunities to gather, celebrate and enjoy live music in the heart of the village.
Christmas Eve gets things underway with the popular Cobweb Christmas Draw at 2.30pm – always a lively and well-supported afternoon.
On Christmas Day, the pub will be open for drinks only from 11.30am to 1.30pm, offering a relaxed place to pop in and raise a glass.
Boxing Day sees live music from Paul Dark, followed by The Hurdy Girdies on Saturday 27th, keeping the festive atmosphere going.
New Year’s Eve promises to be a highlight, with fireworks at 7pm, alongside a collection in support of Cornwall Air Ambulance. The evening continues with live music from Firebird, seeing in the New Year in true Cobweb style.
On New Year’s Day, music resumes at 4pm with Black Friday, rounding off the celebrations.
Food will be served throughout the festive period from 11.30am–2.30pm and 5.30pm–8.30pm.
Looking ahead, please note that the Boscastle Shanty Festival Presentation Night will take place at The Cobweb on Friday 16th January at 7pm, celebrating another hugely successful event.
