Wow. What a night! A huge thank you to Santa and the Harbour Rowing Club – it was absolutely amazing to see Santa arrive and join the fun. Your support made the evening feel truly magical.
Thank you to everyone who turned out to celebrate the Christmas Lights Switch-On with us. The atmosphere was incredible, filled with smiles, singing, and community spirit. Thank you to the Boscastle Buoys and to the Boscastle School children for leading the singing so brilliantly for filling the village with festive cheer. And thank you to all the local traders who stayed open late – your support helps make our village shine that little bit brighter.
But perhaps the biggest thanks goes to the behind-the-scenes heroes. At 4pm the tree lights refused to work, and yet by the time the countdown finished… they lit up beautifully! This kind of magic only happens because of the people who roll up their sleeves and quietly get things done. Thank you Jack, Fred, Nick, Steve, Dawn, Sharon, Philippa, and everyone else who mucked in to make the night so special.
And of course, thanks to Tim South West Weather & Drones for giving us the confidence that the weather would pass just in time — and it did!
