The Mowesi Marshgate travelled back in time to the 1970s for their Christmas party! Our clever secretary Nicky had dreamed up a really fun idea, and the constant giggles were a testament to how much we all enjoyed it: 1970s TV game shows! We all tried Call My Bluff, the Generation Game and much more, pausing midway through to tuck into a delicious buffet tea brought by members, and drinking mulled wine (responsibly!). The December meeting, at Marshgate Hall, was followed by Christmas coffee the following week at the Camelot Castle Hotel in Tintagel, where members of the WI and partners gathered for coffee (or other poison!) and a good chat.
