Planning Appeal Notification
- PA23/10067 (Geothermal Power Plant at Slaughterbridge) has gone to appeal. The Parish Council resolved not to submit additional comments, as their previous objections and statements are already available to the Planning Inspectorate. Members encouraged the public to make individual submissions via the Planning Inspectorate website https://acp.planninginspectorate.gov.uk/
Meeting Items:
- Highways: Under the Community Highways Improvement Programme, each Community Area Partnership (CAP) member may submit one Expression of Interest (EoI). The Clerk was asked to resubmit all previous EoIs not yet included in Cornwall Council’s highways programme.
Finance
- Budget 2026/27: Councillors reviewed each line of the draft budget and agreed adjustments. A revised version including new and removed lines will be presented at the next meeting for approval.
- Precept 2026/27: Cllr Lakie proposed a 2.7% increase from £51,500 to £52,000, equating to an extra £2.57 per Band D household per year.
