A huge “thank you” from the Forrabury and Minster with Trevalga PCC, and our Rector Simon Faulks, to everyone who contributed to a very beautiful and thoughtful Christmas season.
Numerous boxes of food were received and passed on to the Coachhouse Food Hub in Tintagel to give to the families in need in Boscastle and surrounding areas so that they could enjoy tasty and healthy food over Christmas.
Boscastle WI gave a very generous donation that meant we could decorate St Symphorian’s church in Forrabury with beautiful flowers, as well as holly and ivy from our gardens. As usual we welcomed the Boscastle CP School for their Nativity in Forrabury on 19th December. The church was also enjoyed by our community for the Carol Service as well as Midnight Mass on Christmas Eve, Minster was cold but glorious for our Christmas Communion, also on 24th December. There were numerous other services throughout the various churches in the Benefice. All in all, there were many opportunities to get together with neighbours and share the spirit of the season.
