A bursary fund is available for young people from Cornwall to attend Marlborough College, offering the potential for fully funded or partially funded places.
The College confirms that the fund has been created from its share of the proceeds from the sale of the Trevalga Estate in North Cornwall, and is held in memory of benefactor Gerald Curgenven.
The bursaries are intended to support children from Cornwall or with a strong Cornish connection, helping to widen access to education regardless of financial circumstances.
Awards are means-tested and can cover up to 100% of fees, with additional support sometimes available for related costs such as travel, uniform and equipment.
