The siren song of the sea swimmers kept Mowesi Marshgate members wide-eyed and enthralled … and even more than a little tempted at the idea of plunging into an icy sea!
Ella Walsworth-Bell and Kerry Vincent are two of the Cornish sea swimming group Mordros (sea sound), aquatic poets whose wild swimming has inspired them to write and publish verse on their swimming and on women’s issues.
They both arrived at Marshgate Hall for the May WI meeting to read their astonishingly beautiful poems and talk about their magical other life in the ocean, showing photos of sea swimmers.
